Refund policy

What Is Eligible for Return

Only full-price, Ready-to-Ship (RTS) items purchased online are eligible for return. To qualify, your item must:

  • Have been purchased at full price with no discount code or markdown applied
  • Be designated as Ready-to-Ship on the product page at the time of purchase
  • Be postmarked for return within 5 calendar days of your confirmed delivery date
  • Be unworn, unused, and in original condition with all original tags attached

Only one unit per style is eligible for return. If you purchased multiple sizes of the same style, only one may be returned.

What Is Not Eligible for Return

The following are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged under any circumstances:

  • Made-to-Order (MTO) items
  • Pre-order items
  • Rush production orders
  • Discounted or sale items — any item purchased with a discount code or marked down from its original price
  • Sample items
  • Turbans and dupattas, due to hygiene standards
  • Items purchased in person at our NYC showroom or any pop-up or trunk show event
  • In-store pickup orders — The 5-day return window applies only to online orders delivered to your shipping address. Pieces collected through in-store pickup at our NYC showroom are not eligible for return or exchange.

How to Initiate a Return

Email info@harleenkaur.us within 5 calendar days of your delivery date with your order number and reason for return. Do not ship your item back before receiving written confirmation from us — unauthorized returns will be refused and returned to sender at the customer's expense.

Once your return is approved, we will provide instructions and a prepaid return shipping label. The cost of the prepaid label will be deducted from your refund.

Return Shipping & Costs

  • Return shipping is the customer's responsibility
  • A prepaid return label is provided for convenience; the label fee is deducted from your refund
  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable
  • Items valued over $500 may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 15%, applied based on item condition and handling

Refund Processing

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you by email. Approved refunds are issued to your original form of payment within 5–7 business days of our receiving the item. Please allow additional time for your bank or card issuer to process the credit.

Defective or Incorrect Items

If you received a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, please contact info@harleenkaur.us within 3 calendar days of delivery with your order number and photos documenting the issue. We will resolve it at no cost to you.

Lost Return Packages

We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping method for all returns. Harleen Kaur is not responsible for return packages that are lost or damaged in transit. If your return package is lost, please file a claim directly with the carrier.

International Returns

Customers outside the United States are responsible for all return shipping costs, duties, and taxes. Original duties and taxes paid at import are non-refundable. We recommend consulting your local customs office before shipping a return internationally.

Exchanges

We do not offer exchanges at this time. If you would like a different size or style, please initiate a return (if eligible) and place a new order.

Made-to-Order Items

All made-to-order items are crafted specifically for you and are final sale. If you receive an MTO item that is defective or materially different from what was described on the product page, please contact us within 3 calendar days of delivery. Unauthorized MTO returns will be refused and returned to sender.

In-Person Purchases

All items purchased at our NYC showroom or at any event are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

Disputes & Chargebacks

We are committed to resolving concerns fairly and promptly. Please contact us at info@harleenkaur.us before initiating a dispute or chargeback with your financial institution. If a chargeback is filed after a resolution has been agreed upon in writing, we reserve the right to contest the dispute using that written correspondence as evidence with your card issuer.
