How did you pick your wedding day look? Was it a quick decision or a long search?
It was a very quick decision! I'd say I knew almost instantly. Harleen Kaur was only the second place I visited, and as soon as I tried my lehenga on, I just knew it was the one. I instantly felt a connection with the outfit and knew it was exactly what I wanted to wear on the big day.
How did you both meet?
Liam and I actually met when we were neighbors during the pandemic! We became fast friends, spent a ton of time on FaceTime, and after a couple of months, we started dating. Our relationship grew from a strong friendship, which I think is a beautiful foundation.
If you could relive one part of the wedding weekend again, what would it be?
Our first look, hands down. Seeing each other for the first time on our wedding day was so special, and it instantly calmed me. It was a beautiful, intimate moment just for the two of us before the excitement of the day began.
What advice would you give to future couples for their wedding?
I'd say my biggest piece of advice is to really try to soak it all in. People told us that the day would fly by, and it really did. Take a moment with your partner to look around and appreciate all the people who have come together for you. Another thing that helped was making sure we had a day-of-coordinator. They took care of all the logistics so we could focus on enjoying the day and spending time with our guests.
What was your experience like working with Harleen Kaur?
It was amazing! My family couldn't be there with me since they live in England, so the entire staff at Harleen Kaur, including Harleen herself, went above and beyond. They were so supportive, giving me advice and hyping me up throughout the entire process.
