Our goal was to look like the authentic versions of us! I wanted a piece that was going to honor both my Indian heritage, my Western upbringing and desire to easily dance the night away. After months of looking at ready-to-wear styles, I realized that a completely custom piece was the only way to achieve those goals. Harleen helped us design an indo-western pant suit that had all of the details I was looking for.

The fabric highlighted traditional Indian prints, the top featured a saree-esque shoulder and the pants had pockets. Harleen was even able to sew a piece of my mother's wedding saree into the pockets so I could keep a piece of family and tradition close all day.
