Fusing Modern & Traditional with HK Bride Pallavi!
Pallavi was a true dream to work with. She had tons of inspiration to share with us but wanted something really unique to her. It was so much fun working with her, her sister and her mother every step of the way. We truly felt lucky to be such a significant part of Pallavi's wedding day!

What made you choose the outfits you did for this event?
Our goal was to look like the authentic versions of us! I wanted a piece that was going to honor both my Indian heritage, my Western upbringing and desire to easily dance the night away. After months of looking at ready-to-wear styles, I realized that a completely custom piece was the only way to achieve those goals. Harleen helped us design an indo-western pant suit that had all of the details I was looking for.
The fabric highlighted traditional Indian prints, the top featured a saree-esque shoulder and the pants had pockets. Harleen was even able to sew a piece of my mother's wedding saree into the pockets so I could keep a piece of family and tradition close all day.

My piece was a totally custom design and custom fabric and took 12 months from start to finish.
